Obituary for Brady Jay Hagenstein

Brady Jay Hagenstein, 16, of Waterloo, died Friday, January 12, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born July 21, 2001 in Waterloo, son of Gregory Hagenstein and Heather Harris.

Brady attended high school at Waterloo West and would have graduated in 2018. He was employed with All Season Tree Services in Waterloo. Brady was a member of the American Motorcyclist Association where he won the district 22 Championships 10 years in a row. He loved working on dirt bikes and cars, camping, fishing, and archery.

Survived by: his father of Waterloo; his mother of Waterloo; a sister Larissa Hagenstein of Waterloo; paternal grandmother, Shirley Hagenstein of Waterloo; two nieces, Izreanna and Izabella Harris; multiple uncles and cousins; his best friend, Logan Wolf, along with many more; and his four legged friend, Bandz.

Preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Diane and Dale Harris and paternal grandfather, Wayne Hagenstein.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 22, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with burial in Reinbeck Cemetery in Reinbeck, Iowa. Public Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday and for one hour before services at the funeral home on Monday.
